we book original music only, no cover songs please.

we don’t pick a lane when it comes to genre but we like to host experimental punk or punky experimental as well as tartarian-style doom funk if we need to be specific.

we keep $5 of the cover charge, artist keeps the rest. we walk around and shake down the customers for it 1/2 hr before start time through first 1/2 hr of performance. minimum cover is $10 (50/50 split) any cover charge above $10 artist keeps the additional revenue. so if the cover charge is $10 you get $5 per head, $15 you get $10 per head, $20 you get $15. cover charges paid via credit card are paid to artist via check night of show along with the split of any cash collected. artists get free food item of their choice and drink deals.

all shows are 21+ however we make exception for artists and family members etc who are under 21 if contacted by artist in advance of show.

we don’t keep any of your merchandise money lol but we don’t assist with sales either.

we hold performance licenses with ASCAP and BMI, please let us know in advance of booking if you are associated with a different PRO as it may affect our ability to book ya.

for sound we have a mixer to our powered speakers for vocals and direct inputs, and 3 sm58s with cables and stands. the mixer is accessed by both band and staff. since we’re a small room and don’t mic drums or amps, artists should expect the sound situation to be kinda like band practice / diy spot etc not big rock club pro style.

nights are booked directly with artist, who may invite another act to share the bill/cover or choose to do the night solo. shows start at 9 pm unless there’s a good reason to start it earlier, please run that by us in advance. ask about anything else when emailing HiLaryBookUs@gmail.com with a couple future sundays that work for ya and thanks for wanting to play galaxy hut!
